The Western Hemisphere faces a convergence of dire security threats, including narco-terrorism, border security, far-left violence and weaponized social unrest, and the growing influence of authoritarian and extra-hemispheric powers such as China, Iran, and Russia.

The Heritage Foundation convenes leading policymakers, national security and defense leaders, and private-sector executives in Miami, Florida to build partnerships and discuss how together we can combat these shared threats, increase regional stability, and create a stronger Hemisphere.

The inaugural 2026 Miami Security Forum convened policymakers from 19 Western Hemisphere countries, as well as partners from Europe and Asia, to discuss the foremost security threats facing the Americas and work together toward joint solutions.
